FIRST FLY WITH AIRASIA
What would you first think of if AirAsia mentions you on Twitter?

First thought was I’d be flying to Kuala Lumpur. Second, I would bring Rowjie with me. Third, two VVIP tickets to 2PM’s concert. Fourth, who the eff are they?

FLY ME TO MINDANAO!
One of my favorite airlines is holding a contest! With the choices of Hermosa in Zamboanga, Lanzones in Camiguin, and MassKara in Bacolod, it took me a lot of time deciding what answer I should give to their question of Why do you want to experience and join that festival? Alright. I’ll let you know my dilemmas.
I’ve already been to Camiguin and Bacolod and so I’m left with Zamboanga. Hermosa Festival sounds great but it is held every 12th of October. That’s Wednesday this year and I don’t think that I’d still be given enough mercy by my bosses if, again, I would apply for a few more days off from work. That is, if I only get to be chosen as one of the winners. Oh well, dreaming is free.
And who can resist Bacolod’s world-renowned MassKara Festival? No one. But, I have unfinished business with Camiguin and I’d really love to go back there. Actually, I just made excuses so I’d have no other options but to choose Lanzones Festival.
Shame on me, I’ve only seen one Philippine festival my whole life. I should be more embarrassed had I not witnessed my hometown’s Feast of Peñafrancia. Below are some of the photos I’ve taken during our last Bicolandia visit.

MissBackpacker’s 2nd Birthday
Since the 2nd year anniversary of my Where Have You Been Lately? blog is fast approaching, I am feeling overly generous. Ergo, I will be giving away three MissBackpacker shirts for the contests below (one shirt per contest):

MACTAN: ALMOST SIARGAO
I am so lucky to have been chosen as one of the four winners of a round-trip plane tickets care of Cebu Pacific. Just like what I wrote, I am afraid of the sea water but I chose Siargao as my destination as I am fascinated by its world-renowned Cloud 9 waves. Dispatch Magazine, I can’t thank you enough. This is the first time I’ve ever won a travel-related contest.
