hi. thanks for this informative page on nagsasa. unfortunately i came across this only now after searching. was wondering if your jump off point called sitio san martin is in the town of cawag. we are planning to climb but cannot get much more info. we’ve done pundakit-anawangin and impressed. so we will be trying to make this one too this weekend. thank you!

Hi! Answer is yes, Sitio San Martin in Cawag is the jump-off point. Migs, my very good friend, is one of the first people who ever laid eyes on Nagsasa. He might be of big help to your group. You can contact him via text (09052688275) or email (miguel.mapalad@yabag.org). :)

we stumbled our way to sitio san martin, made the climb through mt. nagsasa and reached nagsasa cove on the 31st so i was not able to reach migs anymore. but thanks nonetheless. it is a destination worth many returns and has the advantage of having less tourists than anawangin–which has become too crowded these days since its more easily accessible by banca. but there are many more coves to reach. do keep writing!

Hi! we are planning a trail/climb to nagsasa cove…nice to know you have successfully done this. Approximately how many kilometers is the trail and what’s the condition, is it technical? where is Sitio San Martin and Cawag, how do we get there? Thanks!
